Coming of Age

I like this piece. :> It's kind of the turning point in my art and concept. I used to be real negative and do really dark art but one day I asked myself why I won't let myself be happy and love life for all it is and this came about. Then I realized everything was going to be okay and I've never been happier.

THE SCAN DOES IT NO JUSTICE ) I had to scan in a slide cos the original piece is too big for my scanner.

Media: Acrylic for the figure, watercolor and ink for the bg, etching prints for the flower prints (yes they were hand drawn, too bad the details aren't noticable here).
